After months of not having the time and not being able to workout at the gym, I can feel that my body has gone weaker. The slightest of physical activity give me joint and muscle paints. Last week, I even had to take medicines for joint pain treatment because I did a lot of lifting doing some chores at home.

For this reason, I regret not giving myself enough time to stay fit by doing regular exercise and proper diet. My case is probably the main reason why most old people become weaker.

Stress or Age?

The first thing that I do every morning is get ready for work and I did just the same thing this morning. However, this morning was a little different.

When I looked in the mirror, I saw that I have dark circles around eyes. I looked stressed, pale and worst, ugly. Then I asked myself, could it be that I am already getting old? Or is this a sign that I am forgetting to take care of myself?

I hurried to the office and right after I arrived, I immediately drafted a letter requesting for some time off my work. Perhaps I really need to relax and unwind a bit.

Excitement for Bundle of Joy

My wife is currently five months pregnant and we are both excited for our first baby. We still have no idea if our baby is going to be a boy or a girl but either way, we are both thankful. My wife is planning to throw a baby shower party on her eighth month but she is already conceptualizing designs for baby shower invitations that she is making herself. Talk about being excited!

We are also excited in shopping for our baby’s first clothes but we need to wait a few more weeks for the ultrasound. We just don’t want to buy the wrong clothes for our first baby.

When is too old?

My mom is already over 40 years old so we did not expect her to still be interested in taking weight loss diet pills. We were having a family dinner when she suddenly brought up the topic of using weight loss supplements. Of course, we didn’t like her diet pills because we didn’t think that she needs them at all. My mom did not like our reactions and there were a few minutes of silence at the table. Breaking the silence, my mom told us that she just feels that she’s already looking too old.

To be honest, we think that my mom is looking great at her age. That’s what we told her and it ended the argument and put a smile on mom’s face.

Nice Birthday Gift

My birthday celebration last Saturday was successful. It was a small event but many of my close friends and relatives came to greet and celebrate with me. One of the best gifts that I receive is a gift certificate for a facial clinic. We actually used the gift certificate earlier this day. I think the dermatologist is really kind and accommodating. She prescribed a face wash for acne and skin toner to lighten up my skin a bit.

Every year, I thank God that I lived another year on this world. But the great thing about living in this world is the people around me.

the Intimate Wedding

One of my closest cousins, Trisha is going to get married soon. The wedding is going to be next month and it is supposed to be a simple and intimate celebration. There will only be around 50 people who are given invitations and asked to attend the event. Fortunately, I am one of her cousins that are close to her. My wife and I got them a free plane ticket to Thailand - their honeymoon destination. My mom will pay for their accommodations so they won’t have to worry about anything for their honeymoon.
