Going on a trip this Halloween season? Having to travel lugging about Halloween costumes may prove to be a bother especially if the costume of your choice is a bulky one to keep in tow. This brings us to the first rule: do not choose to dress up as any character that requires huge props. Banish all plans of going as Sponge Bob or as a Teletubby… just for this year. Discount shops could easily solve this problem but if you do not have the time to visit any of the discount costume shops nearby, it is probably best to choose et-ups that are easy to pack and carry around.

Girls’ costumes that are good for traveling light include simple white dresses you could accessorize with funky jewelry and a wand made from a pen with a paper star on one end to look like a fairy. Super hero costumes and tights are relatively easy to pack as boys’ costumes.

Women’s costumes that aren’t too harassing to carry around include tight black dresses that when paired up with a lot of leather and make-up gives the look of a dominatrix, even without the whip. The men could just stick to the good old tuxedo and fake fangs or mix and match any of their outfits, add on a pair of glasses and end up looking like their favorite college professor.
